In our platform team, we are growing and are searching for a software development engineer to join our team at Lysaker. The team is developing low-level software running on custom hardware used in our video conferencing systems. We offer an exciting and engaging position in a highly skilled team combined with flexibility and inspiring technical challenges.
Who we are looking for:
A highly proficient and hands-on person to contribute and improve the hardware near software on our video endpoints. In this role you will also work closely together with our hardware and test teams as part of projects and technology explorations.
- You have a relevant master’s degree
- You have some years of work experience and knowledge of software development for embedded systems and C-programming
- You have interest and knowledge in one or several of our embedded domains: device drivers, microcontrollers, Python programming, Linux, FPGA development, video I/O, audio, bootloaders, signal processing, build-systems, real-time programming, cameras, image processing, machine learning, sensors or automatic testing
- You collaborate well and enjoy working in small and larger teams, groups and projects
- You are passionate, pragmatic, and analytic
- You live and work in Norway with no additional visa sponsorship from Cisco
- You communicate clearly and effectively in English
